Story Missions in GangCity: The City Contacts and Il Capo

GangCity's storyline through city contacts: Don Moretti, Yusuf, Mei Ling, Officer Bakker and Eddie the Fence, building trust per city, and unlocking the final boss Il Capo.

Every city in GangCity has influential figures who can put someone like you to good use. Through the story missions (city contacts) you build trust with these contacts, unlock heavier assignments, and work your way toward a meeting with the mysterious final boss. It's the storyline that ties GangCity's world together.

The contacts

Each contact has their own city and character:

  • Don Moretti — Chicago, the mafia patriarch.
  • Yusuf — Detroit, pragmatic and business-minded.
  • Mei Ling — New York, subtle and well-connected.
  • Officer Bakker — Philadelphia, a corrupt cop.
  • Eddie the Fence — Hawaii, the fence who asks no questions.
  • Il Capo — the final boss, with no fixed city.

Building trust

Every completed mission raises your trust with that contact, on a scale from 0 to 100. You climb through successive levels as you go, from Unknown through Known, Trusted and Ally to Right Hand. Note: some contacts are rivals of each other — gaining trust with one can hurt your standing with the other. So choose carefully who you align yourself with.

Important: stay in the right city

A mission from a contact only counts if you're standing in that contact's city. Want to make progress with Mei Ling? Then you need to be in New York. Traveling is therefore inseparable from the storyline.

Vacation and deadlines

When you put your account into vacation mode, active story missions with a real deadline that has not expired yet are extended by the full selected vacation duration. Missions without a time limit do not change.

The final boss: Il Capo

Reach a high trust level with multiple contacts, and you unlock the final boss Il Capo. Whoever completes his assignments earns a unique honor and an exclusive weapon — a fitting crowning of the storyline.
