Vehicles are valuable in GangCity. You start small with bicycles, but soon you can steal motorcycles, cars and even helicopters. Stolen vehicles are stored in your garage, and they're not just worth money — you also need them to take part in joint heists. A real gangster always needs to be able to make a quick getaway.
What can you steal?
- Bicycle / motorcycle — the entry level. Bicycles are low risk and cheap; motorcycles pay off more but are harder to steal.
- Car / helicopter — from cheap to luxury models. The more expensive and exclusive, the lower your chance of success. Helicopters are the heaviest category.
Just like with other crimes: the higher the value, the greater the chance of getting caught. If an attempt fails, you risk ending up in prison.
The garage
Stolen vehicles end up in your garage, per city. There's a maximum number of vehicles you can keep, so sell in time to make room. Vehicles can suffer damage during the theft — that lowers their resale value.
What do you do with your vehicles?
- Sell them — turn them into cash. The payout depends on the vehicle's value and damage. You can also sell vehicles to other players via Obay.
- Use them in heists — in Route 66, Organised Crime and the Mega Heist, a driver stakes a vehicle. You do not lose it permanently: in Route 66 a car or motorcycle returns undamaged on success and with 10% extra damage on failure. In Organized Crime, a car or helicopter returns with 5% damage on success and 15% on failure. In the daily Mega Heist, this is 0 damage points for a perfect operation, 10 points for a regular successful operation and 20 points on failure or expiry.
